Attention Scene Kids! Are you new to the subculture and want to fit in?

Well don't do that! Scene kids stand out, they don't blend in! So wanna learn how to stand out? Great! Lets get started!

Hair

Scene hair is very similar to Emo hair, but Scene kids like to make it more colourful and out there! Streaks of colour, raccoon tail or leopard print extensions, spikes and more, anything to make it stand out! Of course simple black Scene hair is also fine too, or any colour for that matter, but it is a staple of the look for sure!

Makeup

Scene make up, like Emo makeup, is recognized by the thick black eyeliner and pale foundation, however adding brightly coloured eyeshadow also completes a cute Scene kid look! Scene guys can wear makeup too, and will look great with dark eyeliner! Scene really is about being yourself so experiment and see what you love the most!

Clothing

First rule of Scene kid clothing is colour...and LOTS of it! Scene kids love to..well...Make A Scene...and colour stands out! Being a walking talking rawring rainbow is a favourite past time for Scene kids! Though outfits with pops of colour are also a great alternative. Band shirts with brightly coloured skinny jeans and some kandi accessories or even a colourful hoodie with black jeans will do nicely! Skirts with colourful or ripped tights/leggings are also worn by Scene kids and look great in most outfits! Scene outfits are notoriously good for mixing and matching, so feminine outfits can become masculine, masculine can become feminine and either of those can become very neutral!

Scene icons that they LOVE to wear merch of are Hello Kitty, GIR, Pikachu, Gloomy Bear and other cute characters!

Accessories are a MUST in Scene fashion. Kandi is very popular and come in ALL kinds of different styles and patterns, and are very easy to make yourself! Bows and clips are always great added to Scene hairstyles, along with clip in extensions. Emo accessories such as studded bracelets and checkerboard wristbands can also be worn in Scene fashion! For shoes, Osiris is a popular brand of shoe, but any colourful shoe will do, no matter the brand or price!

Remember, if it's cute and colourful, you can probably add it to your Scene kid outfit!

Final Notes

In conclusion, I hope this information helped new people to the Scene subculture look the part. As long as you really want to be scene, listen to the bands, enjoy the fashion and aren't a poser, you'll fit right in!
